The MYTH of
VERTICAL AUDIOSCOPES



 

 The vertical audioscope has been a myth and legend for some time now.The actual vertical audioscope is just an optical illusion. The only true audioscope is horizontal.   Here I will hope to show how the illusion is accomplished and a few of the effects that can be achieved.

  The trick to creating a vertical audioscope is in how you use the width attribute and to a lesser extent the height attribute.The key point to remember is that to achieve a vertical look to your audioscope is to use multiple narrow audioscopes. A series of width="5" audioscopes will give you the effect shown below.

Now taking those same audioscopes and changing the height attributes from highest to lowest will give you the following type of effect.
